Artist, writer and cultural critic. He dedicates mainly to the criticism, artistic creation, and strategic direction of projects. He has founded and directed the Aula do Risco, since 1994. He has written more than 1.700 critical texts and has held countless conferences in Portugal and abroad. His art has a visible conceptual trade. Idealized with Carlos Sant'Ana the extension of Lisbon to the Left Bank of the Tagus (2005).
He idealized a technological city for Montemor-o-Novo (1995) and the creation of a Museum of Art and New Technologies in La Coruña (1987).He participated in the inaugural exhibition of Reina Sofia Museum Art Center, in Madrid (1986) and also in the XII Paris Biennial (1982). Many of his works are in important collections, such as: Serralves Museum, Berardo Museum, MVM-Vostell-Malpartida Museum, MEIAC-Extremadura Iberoamerican Museum of Contemporary Art.
