The annual event E-X-S-I, Encounter Expressions between Sound and Image, arises from collective reflection by academics, creators, curators and trainees on the articulation between practice and contemporary research in the various domains of sound and of image.
The word encounter is central to the concept of the event, as it reflects the confluence, in an informal dialogue, of the means of creation, teaching, exhibition, production and distribution, a great diversity of sound and visual contents expressed in the most ranging from interactive design, short films, audiovisual installations and performances. Without circumscription, instead, permanent holding.
The E-X-S-I is an annual, one-day event, scheduled between March and April, which runs from 2016, and it is open to all interested in the various themes.
